The History of Whitlock’s Book Barn
Sellers of used and rare books since 1948, Whitlock’s Book Barn is located just minutes from downtown New Haven and Yale University. The store operates from two weather beaten barns sitting amid a scenic pasture. For decades, buyers and sellers of used books, old maps and ephemera have come to Whitlock’s looking for intellectual adventure.

I found a book mark with your store name on it in my Dad’s old bird book that he had when we were kids. My family loves to read, and I am so looking forward to visiting your store. 🙂
My father was a patron of your barns for many many years. He was an avid collector and finder of interesting and historical periodicals. One day I will make my way to your establishment to connect with him once again in the familiarity of the books. Sadly he hadn’t come since his stroke in 03′ and passed in 16′. Even when he couldn’t come anymore he always spoke highly of one of his favorite places. 🖤📚
